This page is a guideline of pricing for tunes. Any additional work done to the gun will be optional to the owner at that point.

There is no set turn around time on ADV tunes. It could be weeks or months. If this is going to present a problem let me know before sending your rifle in. Any estimate given on the phone is a best guess and not a contract. The more options you ad will increase turn around time as well. Guns with know issues take longer and are often put on a back burner until I can spend the undivided time needed to find and correct the issues with that rifle.

Some parts that need to be ordered from the manufacture, will be priced when the gun is here and repairs are started. Some parts on obsolete guns and guns no longer being produced will need to be sourced by the customer. This doesn't apply to springs, seals and guides on most guns. Only on parts like cocking levers and trigger parts that aren't cheaply fabricated. Call to be sure about your model if you suspect this will be the case.

All tunes use New Maccari springs and custom made guides.
You won't get your old parts reinstalled.
Cocking slots are milled and compression tubes are honed on a Sunnen Hone.
Soft or unhardened parts are Kiln or case hardened at the time of the tune.

** NOTE: Turn around time depends on current work load. I'll inform you if my work load is high when you call. Typically, July through October are my slowest months. During peek months it's not uncommon for some to wait four to six months. If your interested only in turn around time, it would be best if you did not send your rifle to me. There are others that can install pre-fabricated kits and parts into your gun but those aren't custom tunes. They will definitely benefit your rifle but they aren't a custom tune and aren't compareable to what is done in our shop. A custom tune is fitting and making parts in house that specifically balance out your individual rifle and caliber for the absolute best preformance and long life. In the end rushing things out the door is bad for both you and me but if you're willing to wait you will get the absolute finest work that can done Bar None. I have set hours in the day that I work and many times it's not enough to get some things out with the type work being performed here. Some of the particular rifles being sent in take longer to do than others and it's not until I begin on them that I will know how long they will take.

A special note about my tunes

My #1 goal when tuning a gun is to have a pleasant shooting gun that will stay that way for a long time. If your primary goal is to have a gun that will shoot peak velocity right after the tune there are several tuners that will do this for you. I could do the same but the end result is a gun that will shoot harshly and will have spring noise .

Current ADV tune offerings

FWB124 ADV: ARH main spring, delrin spacer and top hat, buttoned piston, ARH piston seal, receiver is honed on a Sunnen hone, the cocking slot is cleaned up on a mill and the trigger is disassembled, polished and adjusted for slightly lighter pull. $245

FWB124 ADV Custom: ARH main spring, delrin spacer and top hat, buttoned piston, bronze rear guide and thrust washer, ARH piston seal, receiver is honed on a Sunnen hone, the cocking slot is cleaned up on a mill and the trigger is disassembled, polished and modified for a lighter first stage pull and crisper let off. This tune delivers less recoil and cocking effort than the above tune but requires extra work for the rear guide conversion and trigger modifications. $285

Beeman R7/HW30 and Newer HW50S ADV: ARH main spring, Ny/Del guides, ADV piston seal, buttoned piston, hone receiver full length on Sunnen Hone and cocking arm slider. Trigger disassembled, polished, adjusted and custom tool steel sear pins installed (Hardened detent on HW50S). Also specify mid or high power on HW50S. $285

R9/R10/HW95 ADV: ARH main spring, Ny/Del guides, mill cocking slot, hone receiver full length on Sunnen Hone, size and hone cocking shoe, buttoned piston, ARH piston seal and trigger disassembled, polished, adjusted and custom tool steel sear pins and barrel detent installed. Various different springs can be used in this tune to achieve lower recoil and cocking effort or more power. Please specify your preference in any correspondence sent with your rifle. $295

R1/HW80 ADV: ARH main spring, Ny/Del guides, milled and deburred cocking slot, mill and hone cocking shoe, seven button piston, ADV piston seal and the trigger is disassembled, polished, adjusted and custom tool steel sear pins and barrel detent installed. $285

HW97/HW77 ADV: ARH main spring with Ny/Del guides, ARH piston seal, compression tube is trued on a Sunnen hone and the trigger is polished and adjusted and the sear pins are replaced with tool steel pins. $295

HW55 and older HW50S ADV: ARH main spring with Ny/Del guides, buttoned piston, ADV piston seal (adapter if needed), the trigger is disassembled, polished, adjusted and custom tool steel sear pins are installed, new for end bracket nut and cocking arm slider. $285 Older guns with broken or bent parts will be higher!!!

Air Arms TX200 Tune: ARH mainspring with bronze guides, custom fitted delrin piston bearings, ARH piston and breech seals, compression tube is trued on a Sunnen hone and the end plug is modified for a better seal. Trigger work and compression tube buttoning is optional. $245

Requesting something to be done that's not a listed on this page can often be done but GREATLY increases the amount of time it will take for me to get to it and be able to return it to you.

Product & Options

* Recesses machined into the breech of barrel cocking gun and bronze inserts installed. $65

* Cut crown and re-choke 16mm and 15mm barrels $40. Other sizes POR.

* HW SetBack trigger rework. NOW IMPROVED! SetBack brass trigger blade with steel pull weight screw, Brass safety button and the unit is disassembled, polished, adjusted and custom tool steel sear pins installed. The final result is a trigger that is smooth as glass, has a smooth positive safety and the trigger is fully adjustable for length of first stage and sear engagement "without removing the stock or trigger guard. $95 for brass when done in conjunction with ADV tune. $125 for Bronze and $115 for Stainless.

* Blued steel or Brass screw cups are $15 at the time of tune. They aren't offered separate unless they are listed in my deal section of the front page.

* Beeman R1 and R9 allen head conversion kit $35. Front and rear trigger guard allen head screws with your choice of Brass or Steel screw cups.

* Barrel shrouds made from 6061 Aircraft aluminum (lightweight) with HardCoat™ Anodized finish (Extremely Tough Finish!).

16mm ID is available in twelve, thirteen and fourteen inches long .840 OD. It can be installed with a spacer to fit 15mm barrels for $10 extra.

Installed for $60 or cut, crown and choked and installed for $100.

Note: I do not sell baffles with shrouds or muzzle brakes. My shrouds are as described above and not sold as moderators, silencers, lead dust collectors or anything else intended to reduce the report of a airgun or firearm. Please don't ask me to supply them to you. Thanks.

NOTE: All items such as shrouds, triggers and safety buttons are hand made here at SpringGunning. Sizes and shapes vary from one to another. If you measure each item and it's not exactly the length as listed or you buy multiple items and they don't appear "exactly" the same that's proof that all items are made by hand and are true "one offs". I only mention this as some have mentioned some of the shrouds being slightly shorter or longer than listed or safety buttons varying in length on the extended versions by about .030. If any of this is going to be a concern of yours mention it before ordering and I'll see what I can do.
